Bridges

Bridges

Dental bridges are used to fill a gap of one or more missing teeth. It is a false tooth that's held in place by abutment teeth that are placed on either side of the gap. The false teeth can be made from a variety of materials, but they are typically made of porcelain as that best matches the color of natural teeth.

Bridges may be attached to healthy teeth by dental cement, or they may be anchored with a dental implant surgically placed in the jaw. They will need to be replaced every 5 to 15 years depending on dental care. They help restore your smile and your ability to chew while improving speech.
