Extractions

Extractions (Even Some Wisdom Teeth)

Tooth extractions involve completely removing a tooth from its socket. In most instances, a dentist will do everything they can to save a tooth including dental crowns or fillings. But n cases where there is severe tooth decay, a fractured tooth, an impacted tooth, crowded teeth, or gum disease, the tooth will have to be removed.

Most people will experience an extraction when they get their wisdom teeth removed. However, this isn't always necessary. Wisdom teeth should only be removed if they are damaging other teeth, causing jaw damage, sinus issues, and other problems.

Wisdom tooth extractions often require the services of an oral surgeon, but Sound Choice Family Dental can perform some procedures saving you time and money.
